Dr Rachel Chia
Rachel completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at UWA in 2012 and has since practised in both government and private clinics. Her time in the government sector has provided her experience in treating patients with multiple medical and dental issues, whom she treats with understanding and kindness. She is passionate about providing her patients with the best dental care and enjoys spending time to ensure patients understand about their oral health.
With her gentle and patient nature, she is a great comfort to her patients, and she tries her best to ensure her patients leave happier and more at ease. She enjoys getting to know her patients well and loves catching up with her regular patients at each check up. She attends dental courses frequently to update her knowledge and has a special interest in furthering her skills in aesthetic dentistry.
Helping people is what she derives joy from and was part of a volunteer dental team to treat underprivileged children in Vietnam. She later also embarked on a church mission trip to Cambodia to educate school children on dental hygiene, which she found both humbling and rewarding. When she’s not caring for her patients, she loves spending time with her husband, her young son and her pet rabbit. They enjoy exploring the beautiful WA in their little caravan and making memories together.
Rachel can converse in basic Malay and Mandarin.
